Jack C., age 83, loving and devoted husband of Janell (nee Tucker) for 62 years; wise and generous father to Jacquelyn (Ron) Messersmith, Sandra (Jeff) Harris, Stephen (Ruby) Page, Lisa (Joe) Allen, and Mary Beth (Ted) Mansfield.; champion to his 11 grandchildren Emily and Tyler Messersmith, Jessica Gentry and Brandon Gray, Jack Page, Joshua and Ashley Daniel, Tucker Allen, Zach Harrison, and Teddy and Eleanor Mansfield and 2 great-grandchildren Riley Burnett and Aiden Daniel. Jack was born and raised in Paragould, Arkansas, and preceded in death by his parents Curt and Mildred Page. He served his country in WWII as a Corporal in the U.S. Army with the 527th Fighter Squadron, 86th Fighter Group stationed in Germany. The majority of his career was spent with F.W. Dodge as a Regional Manager where he positively touched the lives of his many friends and colleagues. He volunteered for the Bethel-Tate Booster Club, the Bethel-Tate Arts Council, and the American Legion Archie Lee Boyce Post 406 and participated in the delivery of hundreds of holiday meals and gifts to needy families in the Bethel area. Jack passed away February 7, 2010 after a valiant fight with cancer. Visitation will be held on February 10, 2010 at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home in Bethel at 12:00, with a memorial service at 1:00, followed by a burial service at Bethel-Tate Township Cemetery.
