Edward C. Nurre
President
Mr. Nurre has been a resident of Clermont County for over 45 years. He graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1969 and is Past President of the Ohio Funeral Directors Association. Mr. Nurre is actively involved in community service, as member and Past President of the Batavia Rotary Club, graduate of Lead Clermont 1994, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Clermont Senior Services. He lives in Pierce Township with his wife Deb and has two children, Adam and Kristin.

Robert M. Hobson
Vice President
With a 1978 degree from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, Bob has been a licensed funeral director with E.C. Nurre for over twenty years. He graduated from Lead Clermont in 2001, and has involved himself with many community activities. Bob is a member of Kings Way Fellowship Church. He enjoys hunting and golf. Bob has one daughter Paige and two step-children Emily and Nick. Bob lives in New Richmond with his wife Karen.

J. Daniel Branham
Funeral Director/Embalmer
Licensed in Ohio and West Virginia, Daniel is a 1998 graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He attended West Virginia University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources Management. Daniel and his wife Donna live in Batavia. He enjoys golf and most other sports.

Carol E. Blom
Bereavement Coordinator
Since 1988, Carol has been helping families who depend on E. C. Nurre to cope with the grief that naturally accompanies the loss of a loved one. She is a Certified Grief Management Specialist through the American Grief Academy, a member of the Association for Death Education and Counseling, National Catholic Ministry to the Bereaved, American Academy of Bereavement and since 1985 Chairperson of St. Peter’s Church Bereavement Committee. Carol lives in New Richmond and has three children, Jennifer Chandler, Jeffrey Blom and Jody Plummer, and grandchildren Logan and Katelyn Plummer, Cassidy, Zackery, Nicholas and Benjamin Chandler. |

Mark McDowell
Directors Assistant/ Property Manager
Mark McDowell is a native of New Richmond and graduated from New Richmond High School in 1989.
Mark is responsible for the upkeep of the facilities, grounds and motor equipment, as well as assisting the funeral directors with services, visitations, and in many other areas. He enjoys camping and hunting, and is a member of the Kings Way Fellowship Church. Mark and his wife Stacey reside in Ohio Twp. with their three children, Samantha, Hannah and Jenna.

Mark E. Herman
Director of Pre-Arrangement Services/ Funeral Director
A native of Cincinnati , Mark has been in funeral service since 1978. He was a sales representative for Batesville Casket Co. for 22 years and has been a licensed funeral director since 2006. Mark is responsible for the advance funeral planning area at E.C. Nurre, working with the many families who wish to make funeral service plans before the need arises. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Cincinnati and enjoys golf, singing, and family activities. Mark and his wife, Louise, are members of St. Veronica Church and have seven children, Brian, Katherine, Emily, Tricia, Mark, David and Mary Beth.
